We are accepting applications for a Trust Administrator.
The Trust Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Trust Department ensuring work is processed in a timely and efficient manner and supporting the development of new business.
Duties
- A primary duty is administering educational trusts and scholarships which includes marketing the availability of funds for secondary education, processing applications, preparation of documents for meetings and processing approvals and loan payouts
- Monitors collection of loan repayment after graduation
- Servicing and maintaining existing relationships with trust clients, beneficiaries and other interested parties in partnership with the Trust Officer
- Using the Accutrust accounting software
- Setting up, administering, terminating and distributing trusts and estates
- Communicating with educational, financial and legal professionals
- Creating various documents and reports
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in trust, legal, accounting or financial services (one or any combination)
Desired Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Ability to review trust agreement documents and other related legal documents and ensure bank compliance
Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
Other Desired Qualifications
In depth knowledge and understanding of estate, trust, or fiduciary administration
Strong desire to attend a trust school for career advancement
