Essential duties and responsibilities in this position include providing a variety of customer checking and savings transactions, promoting our products and services, opening new deposit accounts, and providing a variety of other customer services. We are looking for candidates who enjoy interacting with people, are energetic, friendly, and reliable and have excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
• High school degree or equivalent
• Prior banking, customer service, and new accounts experience or other related cash handling, customer service experience required
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Windows, Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel and be able to quickly learn other software relating to the job
• Strong team player and able to work with a wide range of people
• The ability to lift 25 pounds may be required. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. With a rotating Saturday schedule in Jerseyville.

Jersey State Bank is looking for energetic candidate to be a part-time teller with our bank. This person needs to enjoy interacting with people, be positive, friendly, and dependable with excellent customer service skills.
Essential duties and responsibilities for this position include conducting a mixture of transactions, including checking, savings, and loan types. This candidate will promote the Bank’s products and services with exceptional customer service in a positive, professional manner.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
This person will fill in when needed to cover for vacations and other absences. Scheduled hours will vary and we cannot guarantee a certain number of hours. This person will be required to work on a rotating Saturday schedule.
